Jawbreaker Hill

I haven't submitted anything for such a long time, and definitely not something I was super pleased with, but I'm excited for this one.  Oh my gosh the shading.  I know this doesn't look like much to some people when compared to some of the coloring jobs out there but I worked hard on this little baby.  Each little piece of shading is a different vector part that was manipulated to fit its own place.  Normally when I do shading I try and just pull similar colors, but for this I ended up using a shade of purple for all the shading and I think it came out really well in the end.  It looked awful funny as I was doing it so I wasn't entirely sure that it was going to be a big waste of time until I starting finishing the characters. This is for the November contest of .  The theme was food, so I did food related attire.  The more I worked on it the more I felt I was making something appropriate for the Candyland board game.  :3  I do apologize the the background characters.  I suck at backgrounds in general and felt that I needed something in the space up top.  They were originally meant to be darker as to portray a shadow like silhouette, however I didn't like that dark color contrast with everything else that seemed to be so bright so I ended up brightening them up in the end.  Also, that hill in the back was originally green, but I as I started adding colors onto it, it started to remind me of a jawbreaker, so it to was lightened up in the end. 

Like I said, I worked hard on this, so a comment or two would be lovely.  =3=
